All of the following eligiblity criteria must be met:
Must be from the Basildon Borough Council associated area. Please use your business address at https://www.gov.uk/find-local-council to check.
Must be Limited Company / LLP / Registered as a Sole Trader or Partnership.
Must have commenced trading.
Must not be from a business participating in banking and insurance activities / politically affiliated membership organisations / charities and voluntary sector organisations without a trading arm.
Businesses must be purchasing capital goods & not repaying indebtedness or utilising for survival.

What is the Basildon Business Growth Grant?
The Basildon Business Growth Grant is funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, part of the UK Government's Levelling Up agenda.
The grant provides up to £2,000 as cash payment to enable businesses to add long-term value to their organisations and the local economy.
What kinds of projects can the grant be spent on?
Grants should be used in a way that provides a clear benefit to the business, particularly where an activity would have otherwise not been possible without the funding.
Projects should either help enhance local supply chain opportunities, create or safeguard jobs, have a direct financial return on investment for the business and/or enhance the attractiveness of the Basildon Borough business environment.
Grants must be utilised for capital investment such as, buying fixed assets and cannot be used for revenue-based activity such as, paying staff wages.
There is no minimum matched-funding requirement for applicant businesses but commitment to the intended project will be required and monitored.
